Oireachtas Championship & Team Camp 

All dancers at Prizewinner level and above are welcome to attend the workshop both weeks.

under 12 dancers:  July 29 - August 1

Teams:  12:00 - 3:30

Solos:   4:00 - 8:00

13 & Over dancers:  August 4 - 8

Solos:  12:00 - 5:00

Under 15 Figure:  6:00 - 9:00

     World Champion Joe Davis, of the Davis Academy in Birmingham, England, will be returning this summer to teach a work shop for our dance school.  Fortunately, his mother & teacher Jean Davis is able to attend this year and offer her teaching expertise as well.

All dancers planning to compete as a Solo at the 2008 Oireachtas

are required to compete with Teams

    This workshop is in preparation for the World Championships in 2009, which is being held in Philadelphia, PA.  All dancers planning to compete in a team at the 2008 Oireachtas are required to attend this camp.  There is no fee for this camp.  An assessment fee will be included with team registration for 2008.

     Time to get back in shape & clean up material for the Oireachtas.  All dancers qualified for the Oireachtas (having 1st place in PW dances) are invited to attend.  We will be sorting material, making final changes and getting those muscles back in shape for the start of a new year.  There is no fee for this camp.  An assessment fee will be included with championship & team registration for 2008-2009 classes as all championship dancers will benefit from the new choreography & eventually learn the material whether they attend the workshop or not.
