Q: Do I make a separate check out to the charity for Jiggin' 4a Cure?
A: No, the feis makes one big donation to the charity based on the number of entries. You can write one check to the Kelly-Oster School to cover your entire entry fee.
Q: I have 3 dancer doing 4 dances ($28x3 = $84),
plus they will both do the jiggin' 4a cure ($7x3=$21).
That puts my total at $105. Is the Jiggin' 4a cure included in the family fee of $90?
A: No, Jiggin' 4a Cure is not included in the Family fee. The proceeds from this competition & T-shirt sales will be donated to the charity, therefore all dancers must pay the fee for the charity dance
Q: This is my first time entering for Preliminary. Do I pay $30 per dance?
A: The Prelim fee is $30 for the entire competition, soft & hard shoe together. Additional competitions (ie traditional set or Jiggin' 4a Cure) are an additional fee of $7.00 each.
Q: Can I enter Online?
A: YES. This year our entries are onine at www.efeis.com
Q: If I entered online before 12/20, but didn't mail my payment till after 12/20, will be charged a $10 late fee?
A: No. All payments post marked by 1/1/10 do not have to pay a late fee. However, entries postmarked after 1/1/10 and before 1/8/10 will be charged a $10 late fee. Entries & payments will not be accepted after 1/8/10.
Q: If my entry is postmarked by 12/20/09, but the feis committee does not receive it till after 12/20, do I have to pay a $10 late fee?
A: No. All entries post marked by 12/20/09 do not have to pay a late fee. However, entries postmarked after 12/20/09 and before 1/8/10 will be charged a $10 late fee. Entries will not be accepted after 1/8/10.
Q: What does the Art & Music Competitions pertain?
A: Any Irish Art piece can be entered. There is no limit on size or ability. If it is art it can be entered.
Music will be judged on the musical aspects and qualities of the Irish piece performed by the competitor. All songs should be of a traditional irish nature. Tone, dynamics, style, breathing & other musical techniques will be considered by the judge.
