for the First Time Irish Dance Competitors
All dancrs are entered acording to the year they were born in and their dance level.
Dance Levels
Tir Na Nog : Young Dancers Under 5 that have not takendance instruction from a teacher
Pre-Beginners: Dancers Under 5 that only know 1 step in Reel & Light Jig
Beginners: Dancers taking classes since September 2009
Advanced Beginners: Dancers who competed in a feis for the first time in 2009
Novice: Dancers who placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in Advanced Beginner in 2009
Prizewinner: Dancers who placed 1st in Novice in 2009
Preliminary Championships: Dancers who have placed 1st in all their Prizewinner dances
Open Championships: Dancers who have won 1st Place in Prelims twice.
